I'm a 3rd generation Angus Breeder from Western Colorado. My family and I own Lazy JB Angus Ranch in Montrose Colorado. Lazy JB Angus is currently run right around 250 Angus mother cows. The operation puts on an Annual Bull Sale every march and Online Show Heifer Sale every fall. My family and I show Heifers, Bulls and steers at numerous shows at all levels throughout the United States. Hello, Iím Jimmy Crosby, I have a wife and seven children, and I am an FFA adviser and Ag teacher. I was able to grow up in the cattle business, we had a 300 head cow calf operation that evolved into show steer production and registered cattle. We still sell steers and register a few Simmental and Chi cattle and have had Angus, Shorthorn, Maine and Limousine. I have the perspective that a show heifer still needs to become a producing cow to be a great female. click to view
