Judge personal information:
I was a member of the Cal Poly Pomona Livestock Judging Team in college. Started judging small showmanship contests and worked my way u to county fairs and jackpot shows. I started raising lambs in high school as well as one market hog. I got involved in cattle when I started college. Although I prefer judging cattle, I tend to judge more hogs and sheep. To be honest, I will judge just about anything. There is something rewarding in working with the youth who show livestock. I currently work as a Mobile Dairy Clasroom Instructor for the Dairy Council of California, and Sheep/Swine unit manager at Cal Poly Pomona where we raise crossbred and project pigs, purebred Dorsets and crossbred black face wether type sheep and a few Dorpers and Katahdins.
