Judge personal information:
I enjoy approaching judging a livestock show from the perspective of a producer and seeing the incredible value in youth livestock projects. I emphasize functional, complete, structurally sound livestock, and believe it's important for the exhibitors to understand the differences in muscle, fat, and bone, especially for market animals. I've been judging professionally for 21 years and have judged livestock shows and served as an official for livestock judging contests in 19 states. Through the years, I've raised beef cattle, sheep, and hogs, that have been competitive at all levels of competition.
