Judge personal information:
I have grown up on a 1,400 acre farm all my life and my father taught me the knowlege needed to pick livestock from a young age. I started at 9 years old traveling with my father "helping" him judge at various county and state level shows. I quickly caught on to livestock and really had an eye for showmanship classes, which dad started letting me judge on my own by 12! By the time I was in high school I was being called to judge county shows across West Virignia and was becoming very knowledgeable about the show stock industry. All throughout grade school and high school I showed livestock at county shows and started producing club lambss and show pigs for 4-H and FFA memebers in our county and this year I sell my show stock to exhibitors not only in West Virginia but surrounding states. I was interested in judging on teh collegiate level and in 2014 I did just that. Our team at West Virginia University was the most successful judging team in school history, and I ended my year placing in top ten at Lousiville, KY in sheep. I couldn't be prouder of our team at WVU and I am even prouder to now be called Coach by my kids. I coach livestock judging teams in high school and as my passion has always been the livestock industry I enjoy my job more and mkore. It is an honor to be asked to judge many livestock shows across West Virginia and jackpot shows in aurrounding states. With 13 years of judging expereicne and a lifetime of knowledge as a livestock producer I have a passion not only for livestock production but judging and helping exhibitors in and out of the showring.
