Judge personal information:
I was a member of the West Virginia University Livestock Judging Team in 2012 and participated in the All East Judging Contest, National Barrow Show, Keystone International, American Royal and NAILE. I was also active in livestock judging as a junior where I participated in numerous contests with 4H and FFA. I was fortunate enough to be on the 2008 4H WV State Livestock Judging Champion team and judged at the 2008 National 4H Judging Contest at NAILE. Upon graduating college I became an Agriculture Educator and have taken my love for livestock judging and passed it onto my students. I've trained teams and have had them compete in numerous contests across the tri-state region.

As far as the livestock that I raise my family runs a 20 cow commercial operation with an Angus- Simmental base. Recently I've taken a big interest in the sheep industry and have tried to start raising competive club lambs and attended Sedalia this past year to purchase rams to fulfill my goals. Most of my flock consists of black faced crossbred ewes and have started a small flock of Southdown ewes which I hope to add to this summer. I also have a handful of boer goats and in the future may add more. Have had pigs in the past put have taken a break from them.

While in 4H and FFA I showed Feeder Cattle and Market Steers.

I'm most interested in judging Cattle, Sheep and Swine.
