Judge personal information:
I have been raising breeding sheep and club lambs since I becoming a 4-H member.  I have judged sheep, goats, swine and beef cattle at all levels in the state of Oklahoma in the last 15 years.

Probably the most important thing is that I strongly believe every judge should have the highest moral character and ethics.  I know that I have not obligated myself at any event I have judged whether it be at the county, district or state level.  It is my Christian beliefs and up bringing that I credit my character (which means the influence of a lot of good and Godly people in my life).

I have worked as a show official for the last 15 years at either the Oklahoma State Fair, Tulsa State Fair or Oklahoma Youth Expo in the Jr. Market Lamb and Breeding Sheep Divisions.  Therefore, I have experienced the "behind the scenes" aspect of the show and will work with show officials to have an efficient, smooth running show while I am judging.

My strengths are judging sheep, but I do enjoy working through Goat, Beef Cattle and Swine (in that order).
Additionally, I have continued to work on my ability to not just be a producer of sheep, but a breeder of good quality club lambs.  This past year was a good year for my breeding program as I raised and exhibited the Champion Suffolk Wether Dam at the esteemed Midwest Stud Ram Sale in Sedalia.  I take pride in knowing I did not buy my way to the top (by spending thousands on the breeding stock), and just raised a good sheep with my genetics and the help of other producers genetics and of course having the right judge at the right time.
