Judge personal information:

I have been involved in the swine industry from a very young age; raising elite showpigs and seedstock for competition at the local, state, and national level. Yet my interests do not stop there. Judging has given me a respected desire to further study and broaden my horizons. I have traveled the nation promoting not only swine, but becoming highly involved in the agricultural industry as a whole. Collegiate Judging has given me the mindset of hard work and dedication will pay off in the end.  My drive and competitive attitude never falls short on animal agriculture.  Challenges may arise, but a strong person uses their previous experiences and knowledge to overcome any obstacle.  Our lifestyle is one that is worth fighting for, and I believe in our generation, and myself, to set the standards for the future of agriculture, take charge of tradition, and move forward. I was Highly successful in college compition at both Colroado State and Northeastern Junior College, never being out of the top 20 at any national contest.  Upon completion of my B.S. in Animal Science from CSU, I pursued a M.S. in Animal Science- Beef Production and Management from the University of Wyoming while also serving as the Assistant Livestock Judging Coach. I am now at Colby Community College as an Ag Instructor and Livestock Judging Team Coach.
