Judge personal information:

I was raised on a beef operation in Midde Tennessee where we raise Chi influenced cattle and meat goats. We have around 30 brood cows and I remain involved in selection, marketing, and management. I grew up showing livestock through 4H, fairs, and junior breed associations. I was first introduced to livestock judging through the 4H program and it quickly became a passion of mine in addition to raising and showing stock.

I was a member of the livestock judging team at the University of Tennessee at Martin, which afforded me invalubale opportunities to evaluate some of the best livestock in the country and to compete in judging contests across the nation. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from the University of Tennessee Martin with a concentration in Animal Science and an option in Veterinary Science. I am currently attending Mississippi State University where I am enrolled in the DVM/ PhD dual degree program. The focus of my PhD is beef cattle reproduction and heifer development.

I thoroughly enjoy judging shows no matter the number of head entered and love working with young people (the future of the livestock industry) through Showmanship and junior shows as well. I have been involved with multiple livestock judging clinics for students in 4th - 12th grade and have also assisted in coaching many young aspiring livestock judges.
