I was a member of the Western Illinois University and Black Hawk East Livestock Judging teams and represented Iowa in 2003 on the State Champion Livestock Judging team and 2002 at the National Western Judging Contest. While in college I continued my involvemnet with 4-H youth as I was the Co Coach of the Scott County Livestock Judging team and helped numerous young individuals compete and win at the state and national levels.

Currently I am the owner/operator of Bangert Show Stock with my Wife Jessica and our two sons Brekcen and Briggs. We have small family run showpig operation consisting of around 25 sows of the following breeds: Crossbreds, Durocs, Spots and Yorks in eastern Iowa Established in 2009. Since 2009 with selection of some elite sows we have achieved come great things in the show ring at the county, state and national levels and helped numerous youth make memories that will last a life time.

My greatest passion is however evaluating livetock and working with youth development and educating our youth about the swine industry.

I have currently Judged hog shows in Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Michigan and Missouri.
