As a youth, I spent countless miles on the road showing horses, sheep, and the occasional calf. While showing horses was my first love, I quickly fell in love with the differences in atmosphere of livestock shows once I purchased my first sheep. From there my love affair continued to grow into a small operation where I raise registered Southdowns, Katahdins, and a few crosses of the two. I strive to raise functional, correct sheep that excel in the show ring and go on to be productive dams and sires for both purebred and commercial flocks.

I am currently available to judge breeding & market sheep at jackpots and county fairs and cattle at county fairs.

My greatest reward in showing livestock was being able to learn from my mentors and later help younger youth as they begin their own showing careers. I hope that I can continue to help youth progress their projects and to continue to learn through judging.

Education:

I graduated from Kansas State University in May of 2015 majoring in Animal Sciences & Industry with a certificate in Beef Cattle Ranch Management.
