I am a first-generation agriculturalist that has grown up in both the 4-H and FFA programs. I originally started with a backyard flock of laying hens that progressed into larger market animal projects and eventually evolved into a small herd of registered Hereford cattle. I currently own/operate Ash Farms in Salem, WV where I focus on producing/selling high quality show cattle for 4-H/FFA exhibitors. In addition to the farm, I operate AF1 enterprises which consists of custom labor and livestock services. Custom livestock services include basic health services, clipping/fitting, livestock handling, and artificial insemination services (A.I.).

Currently enrolled at West Virginia University as Animal Science Major with intentions of going on to Veterinary School

Doddridge FFA President​​​​​​​May 2022-2023 Doddridge County High School – West Union, WV • Presides over the officer team & chapter. • Leads the chapter in events • Serves as the “face” of the Doddridge FFA. Doddridge FFA Secretary ​ ​​​​​​May 2020 – May 2022 Doddridge County High School – West Union, WV​ • Keeps notes & records of all meetings and transactions. • Attends all FFA events throughout the year. • Organized the first “FFA Day” for incoming freshmen. • Assists in leading the Livestock Judging team, as well as organizing contests and camps for them. • Assists in organization of the yearly program of action (POA). • Community outreach; cleaned up main street, packed food boxes, and organized donations to the food bank/those of need. • Competes in multiple events throughout the year, recent awards include; 2nd Place Ag Sales Proficiency Award and 1st Place Extemporaneous Speaker Regional FFA LDE’s. This includes the shipping of cattle and organization for competitions at the junior national. WV Feeder Calf Round-Up Sale Board Member​​​​April 2022 –Present WVU Jacksons Mill Facility – Weston, WV • Assists in the organization of the Nation’s oldest running club calf sale, going on its 93rd year. • Tasks include: review of rules, meetings, planning and organization of the sale, and arrangement of barn. ​ CTE Advisory Board Member​​​​​​September 2021 – 2023 Doddridge County High School – West Union, WV • Advocates for the Career Technical Education (CTE) programs at the high school. • Assisted in organizing the inaugural “FFA Day” for the incoming freshman, to bring new members into the program. Superintendent Advisory Board Member​​​​​May 2022 - 2023 Doddridge County High School – West Union, WV • Serves as an “ear” for the superintendent of schools, through the student’s point of view. • Assists in helping make changes in the school, and fix any issues that may arise. • Advises the superintendent on what needs work and what is working.
